Who can apply?
The scheme is open to all ECB affiliated cricket clubs in England and Wales.
What type of projects are eligible?
- Creating welcoming environments – open to affiliated cricket clubs registered for All Stars or Dynamos in 2022, or actively involved with women’s and girls’ cricket and / or disability cricket. It is an expectation that any junior programme will include and actively engage with girls
- Enhanced facilities and playing opportunities for women’s and girls’ cricket and / or disability cricket – open to affiliated cricket clubs actively engaged in competitive female only cricket
- Tackling climate change (supported by Sport England) – Open to any affiliated cricket clubs
How much can be applied for?
Clubs can apply for between £1,000 (minimum) and £10,000 (maximum) per application.
How to apply?
We have created a 3 step process to ensure that we are able to fund projects that support cricket across Worcestershire. All applications will be initially reviewed by our team, and any application that is moved forward in the process will then be accessed by the decision panel. Following each stage of the process, any unsuccessful applications will be provided with feedback via your Club Development Officer.
Step 1:
Phase 1 Expression of Interest – Clubs are now asked to complete an expression of interest form which can be found on the IMS. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide details about the project and why it would meet the criteria set out in the guidance.
Step 2:
Applications will be passed onto the decision panel where all information will be presented. All decisions regarding whether the application will be successful, as well as the amount that will be funded will be made and communicated with the club contact via your Club Development Officer.
Step 3:
Applications that have successfully passed the decision panel will be asked to complete the details on the IMS and your Club Development Officer will support this process. Once submitted, all decision will then be passed onto the ECB for final sign off.
Please be aware that no project can start prior to the grant offer letter from the ECB.
